Quasar is a quality control software that helps companies check the quality of their video content. It uses IAM cross-account roles for content security, and also supports other advanced features like IMF/DCP analysis, Harding PSE, HDR, and Adaptive bitrate QC. This is a flexible software that can be auto-scaled to process large files without users’ intervention. It also offers a great level of security and latency through pre-authenticated URLs, whitelisting REST API access, no storage for users’ credentials, and no access for users’ content. Quasar offers a highly reliable service that includes advanced monitoring, through which potential problems can be detected early. The software offers a fully managed SaaS service that users can deploy in their own VPC (virtual private cloud). Moreover, it also includes the Ref-Q feature for comparing master/reference files side-by-side, and the VOD QC feature through which it supports broadcasters
