Everything for this API is hosted by Cloudflare. By using Pages, Workers, and KV store, the webpage and API take advantage of Cloudflare's worldwide infrastructure to minimize latency. Cloudflare's Edge nodes are located on almost every continent (sorry Antarticans!), so the latency between you and the time zone results is purely the time it takes to calculate the result and your network.
